WEISSMAN, Horia

Horia (Harry) Weissman of Ste-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Qc, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, just days before his 88th birthday.

Born in Romania during trying times, Harry lived though a difficult childhood and embraced every day of his life. Amongst his many joys were sailing and travelling.

Harry is survived by the love of his life, his wife and partner of 65 years, Joan. He will be missed dearly by his children Russel (Eileen), Elizabeth (Craig) and Jonathan. He is also survived by his sister RoseMarie (Allen), his grandson William and host of nieces and nephews of whom he was very fond. He is predeceased by his parents, Gica and Laura,and his granddaughter Laura.

Those who knew Harry will know that he did not want a funeral. A private good-bye was held by the immediate family.
