Les Résidences Funéaires Goyer... a family affair. Three generations worth of pride, engagement and passion. Founded in 1969 in Saint-Eustache by Roméo Goyer, this Quebec company is deeply involved in the community and currently employs a team of nearly 50 individuals. Forty-five years strong, the company's profoundly human approach extends counsel, support, respect, attention and trust to each customer.
René Goyer
PresidentInstitut de thanatologie graduate and president of Les Résidences funéraires Goyer, René Goyer has been at the head of the family business—established in 1969 by his father, Roméo Goyer—since 1979. With the help of his wife and three children, he oversees the operations and participates in the administration and management of the business.
Diane Goyer
Vice-PresidentAbove being her husband's partner from the very beginning, she actively entered the family business in 1985. She is in charge of the administrative offices, human resources, payroll, as well as prearrangement management and customer follow-ups.
Geneviève Goyer
Family CounsellorThanatology graduate from Rosemont College, Geneviève also earned a bachelor's degree in management from HEC Montréal. She joined the family enterprise in 2002 as head of operations and accounting. She is also a family counsellor.
Jonathan Goyer
Family CounsellorJonathan graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. He has also obtained certification as a family counsellor from the Coportation des thanatologues du Québec. Since 2007, he accompanies families throughout funeral planning and the funeral itself, all the while assuming various responsibilities with regard to the general management of the business. Namely, he took part in developing the procedures which led to the business' BNQ certification in 2012.
Benoit Goyer
DirectorCertified accountant and HEC Montréal graduate, Benoit is a member of the board of directors and plays an active role in the development of the family-owned business.
