It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher John Frechette, who passed away on Sunday morning, March 29, in Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac.

Christopher was a devoted partner, father, son, brother, and grandfather whose presence brought strength, humor, and love to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves behind his soulmate and loving partner, Missy McCann; his parents, Tony and June Frechette; his children, Christina Frechette (Jamal), Jesse Frechette (Sabrina), Maria Frechette, and Ellie Frechette; and his cherished grandchildren, Ophelia and Lala Frechette, as well as Tyshawn Williams.

He will also be fondly remembered by his beloved stepdaughter, Stéphanie Lavoie.

Christopher is survived by his siblings, Albert Frechette, Jamie Frechette, and Cindy Frechette; his brother-in-law, Stephen McCann (Shannon); and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Perfetti (Dave), Victoria McCann, Kim Bryntwick (Tom), Tricia McCann, and Sasha Dabic.

He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, Emma Boa, Michael Vaillant, Ben Naamen, Luka Dabic, Nikki Perfetti, Alex Perfetti, and Michael Perfetti; Katie and Maddy Frechette (and their children Weston, Bryson, and Amara); Kyra, Dais, and Matis Steiner; Missy Buffet and Sam Buffet; as well as Jaime and Chrissy Mills and their children, Johnny, Jacob, Josh, and Kaitlyn.

He will also be fondly remembered by his aunts, great-aunts, and extended family: Lynn and Polly Mills, Marco Buccerelli, Sarah Buccerelli, Kathy McGee (Wayne), Danielle McGrude, and Michael McGee; as well as Leanor Deakin (Jerry), their daughter Jessica Deakin, and Johnny Salcony (Diane).

He will be greatly missed by his extended family, the Robichaud and Griffin families, Jarrod and Leilei Atkinson, Terry and Donny, cousins, Jack Head, Prisca, Barney, Nick, Katherine Pacheco, and Brittany Dodds, and so many more.

Christopher’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. His kindness, his presence, and the moments shared with him will never be forgotten.

A wake will be held at Brass Door Pub to celebrate with everyone whose lives he touched. More details to come.
