CARSLAW, Stephen

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Carslaw on October 25, 2025, at the age of 71. He passed away peacefully at home in Blainville, surrounded by his loving family.

Stephen's undeniable kindness and unique offbeat sense of humour endeared him to everyone he met. A passionate and talented musician, he found joy in creating and performing music - the decades of songs he produced will ensure his presence is eternal.

Stephen will be lovingly remembered by his devoted spouse Angela and his siblings Janet (Phil), Scott (Janet), and Laurie (George).
Stephen was an incredibly dedicated father and will be forever missed by his children Kalen, Alicia (Jamie), and Tyler (Vanessa), and their mother Laurie.

He was also a caring stepfather to Vanessa (Maxime) and Hugo (Amélie), and a proud grandfather to Lennox, Jorik, Maeva, Lauralie, and Léo. He will also be fondly remembered as “Guncle Steve” by his nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest with his parents Robert & Lilias (née Davis) Carslaw.

The family welcomes you to a visitation on November 9th at Les Résidences Funéraires Goyer, 105 Bd Desjardins E, Sainte-Thérèse, from 10am-12pm and from 2-5pm.

In lieu of flowers, Donations in Stephen’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
