Carole Lutfy passed away on October 28, 2024 following challenging years with Alzheimer's. Loving mother to her late daughter Tina, Mark (Annie) and Lisa; grandmother to Catherine (Sébastien) and Justine (William); great-grandmother to Jade and Jacob; sister to her twin Micheal, Gerry (Sammy), George (the late Janice) and Paul (Lucie).
Carole will be remembered for her love for her family and her community. She was strong-willed, generous, smart and down-to-earth. Many were touched by her interest in their well-being and the giving of herself to those in need. Carole loved a cozy family home and took great pride in preserving family heritage. Country life meant spectacular gardens for which she was renowned. In her heyday, Carole was an avid skier and biker, and throughout a true nature lover. We will cherish fond memories of our mother, her love of corny music, the way she swayed her hips to a tune, how she lit up when the grand-children came along and how she savored the simple pleasures of life. Her beauty and elegance will live on in all of us.
Until she passed away in 2022, Tina was utterly devoted to the loving care of Carole. She then passed the torched to Monique Scheffer, who was a tireless advocate and loyal long-lasting friend. Our deep gratitude to Ysselt Almanzar Sanchez who also cared for our mother.
