MILLS, Cecille

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cecille Alice Mills, “Muffet” “Auntie” (nee Mills), on August 12, 2023, at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her father Adolph Mills, mother Roselda Raglan Mills and sister Violet Mills. She is survived by her loving siblings Adolph, Adele, Alvin, Benjamin and Hilton, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many other family members and friends across the globe, whom she was also very fond of. Born in Jamaica on November 21st, 1933, Cecille eventually followed her brothers and sisters to call Canada their next home. She settled in Quebec. Always one for an honest opinion and compliment, her energy and presence will be missed at family gatherings.

Cecille will also be deeply missed by many of her nieces and nephews, The family will receive condolences on Sunday, August 27th, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Complexe Funéraire Goyer Ltée (3495 boul. Dagenais Ouest, Laval). A funeral mass will be held on August 28th at 11 a.m. at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Pierrefonds.
