Nelson GOULD

My sympathies go out to all those who were victims of Nelson Gould. His passing is not sad. What’s sad is that he regularly beat his wife (sometimes to unconsciousness), physically and mentally abused six children and repeatedly raped two young daughters but was never prosecuted and sent to prison. Why? Because no one spoke up about it. (Including my young self who felt powerless at the time) I knew this man and his family during the darkest years of abuse and was witness to things that still make me sick to my stomach. It is quite telling that he wished no funeral service. He did not want his victims to gather in person to share the horrifying truth about him. If this sadistic person’s life can serve any good, it’s that it can remind us that there are now more resources available to victims of abuse. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Love and hugs to the family. Being Loretta youngest I don’t have a lot of memories of Uncle Nelson but the ones I do I will cherish. He was a great man with smiles and laughter for all . ❤️
